SUMMARY:QCA Youth Groups Parent Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Quaker City Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority\, Inc. invites parents and guardians to learn more about our 2026–2027 Youth Group programs at our virtual Youth Groups Parent Meeting on Saturday\, September 19\, 2026\, at 11:00 a.m. via Zoom. \nThis orientation will introduce families to Quaker City Alumnae’s three youth initiatives\, review program expectations and requirements\, and provide important information for the upcoming program year. Attendance is required for families interested in participating in any of the chapter’s youth groups\, and advance Zoom registration is required. \nOur youth programs provide age-appropriate opportunities for academic enrichment\, leadership development\, service\, cultural experiences\, and personal growth: \n\nToy Library — Boys and Girls\, Ages 5–11: A signature Quaker City Alumnae educational initiative with more than 40 years of continuous community service. Participants engage in educational and enrichment activities\, including visits to museums\, plays\, farms\, nature centers\, and other learning experiences.\nDr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy — Girls\, Ages 11–14: Designed to build leadership through service learning\, relationship building\, community engagement\, academic support\, and meaningful opportunities for girls to develop confidence and grow as leaders.\nDr. Jeanne L. Noble Delta GEMS — Girls\, Ages 14–18: Growing & Empowering Myself Successfully.
